Although the changes that took place were not so radical, the suspension of the contract with LU required that the name of the ICEF Bachelor's program itself be changed. In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, its name for students of new intakes will change to "ICEF International Program in Economics and Finance".
If we talk about the academic side of the program, then no new changes are planned. The main curriculum, composition of teachers, teaching methods are preserved.

BSc 2-4 year students will recieve UoL diplomas on condition of full competion of the programme.
BSc 1st year students will be accepted at UoL in autumn 2022 (satisfing application conditions).

Students enrolled in the ICEF Double Degree Program (1st to 4th year) is allowed to take the UoL exams, continue their education and receive a second diploma.

An independent learner is a special status for ICEF students. It means that juridically the student studies not at ICEF as a Teaching center, but on his own.

This is like Russian olympic sportmen who participate without flag and hymn but at the end gets the medal :)

No changes are planned: neither in the curriculum, nor in the composition of teachers, nor in teaching methods. The program will continue to train international class economists on the principles worked out with foreign partners in previous years.

Studying will continue to be held in English by teachers selected according to international procedures, all previously developed methodological materials will be used and, of course, new ones will be prepared. Teaching at ICEF will continue according to the integrated curriculum previously agreed with LU, which meets the requirements of 2 universities, so if future ICEF students are given the opportunity to take LU exams to obtain a LU diploma, no additional classes will be required for this.
